Client Focused with a Heart of True Design and Project Management

Hello and welcome! 

I’m Samantha, and my journey into residential redesign is as personal as it is professional. My passion for design was sparked early on when I spent countless hours decorating and playing with the dollhouse my father, Ron, a talented graphic designer, crafted just for me. When I wasn't playing with the dollhouse, I was pretending to be an architect dreaming up floor plans for my clients.  Those childhood moments laid the foundation for my lifelong love of creating beautiful, functional spaces.

Before embracing my true calling, I attended law school at The Washington College of Law at American University.  I was inspired by my grandmother, who was one of the first women to attend the school.  After clerking for a Circuit Court Judge in Maryland, I spent 10 years at Thomson Reuters, where I honed skills in meticulous attention to detail and project management, ending my career as a Regional Manager with a team across 5 states and Washington, DC.

But my heart always yearned for design. Years after navigating a challenging home renovation of my own, I decided to make a career switch, driven by a desire to transform my passion into a profession.  When it came time to name my business, I wanted to honor my father's memory in a meaningful way. Choosing a name that reflects his influence and the creative spirit he instilled in me was essential. When cleaning out my childhood home to prepare for some upgrades, I came across a letter he created "commissioning" the dollhouse he built for me.  The pretend stationary letterhead was from "SamRon Architects."  Today, what was once just a vision is now a reality in Projects by SamRon. It felt like a fitting tribute to the man who first nurtured my love for design and inspired my career change. 

Now, as a home redesign professional, I bring that same dedication and care to each project, ensuring that your experience is smooth and stress-free. I understand firsthand how overwhelming renovations can be, and my goal is to make the process as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.
